Nature of the Work
The work covered the supply, installation, and the commissioning of works for the “instrumentation, electrical automation, telemetry and SCADA Software and Hardware system” for drinking water supply and distribution stations (Reservoirs, Measurement and Valve Chambers, two measurement points located at the water treatment plant and the Raw Water Pump Station of the dam) of DISKI in the city of Diyarbakir.
The structure of the installed SCADA system is as follows: redundant SCADA software; licensed base on 20.000 data points (1/0); 2 Server and 2 Operator Computers; one additional Engineering SCADA computer and backup (archive) units. All are in hot-standby configuration in the Computerized Control Center, Dual Local Area (LAN) network with manageable switches.
Rear Projection Unit, 2 cubical each 80 in size, with own computerized system. 25 RTUs are connected to the SCADA Center via a Radio (UHF) Communication System including 3 Repeater Radio Stations and a NMS System. One more RTU is connected to the SCADA System via communication cable. The implemented system can integrate with the employer’s GIS (Geographical Information System) and MIS (Management Information System).
